Job Description

The incumbent will be leading the MSc degree programmes’ marketing and promotional activities and administration at NUS Business School. The duties and responsibilities are as follows.

Events and Outreach with Business Development

• Participate in outreach events to promote the MSc programmes
• Coordinate and organise offline and online outreach events (e.g. info sessions, coffee chats, etc.) to promote the MSc programmes
• Work with the Digital Marketing colleagues to design campaigns in promoting outreach events as well as post-event engagements
• Research and identify prospective corporates and companies for B2B marketing
• Develop and nurture such relationships to explore potential scholarships and admission opportunities for their employees

Direct Marketing Campaigns

• Co-manage the email marketing campaigns and activities of the various NUS MSc Programmes
• Analyse current email marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
• Leverage on the CRM to maximize marketing opportunities
• Track leads and applicants, following up through their journey and process

Content Management and Marketing

• Work closely with our MSc Programmes Office team, NUS BIZ Corporate Communications Office and other stakeholders to act as a brand guardian in terms of the look and feel of online communications as well as the tone of voice of copy
• Handle programme-related enquiries from prospects and glean insight on generating relevant content strategy
• Be part of the team effort to generate and manage content ideas (including but not limited to copy, visuals, infographics, etc.) for EDMs, social media, student blogs etc.

Research and Reporting

• Conduct periodic research on customers, market conditions and competitors
• Analyse and report on return on investment for the different marketing campaigns

Other roles within the office as designated by the Reporting Manager and Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a reputable institution, with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience including marketing academic programmes in tertiary institutions will be preferred
• Some Business Development experience is preferred
• High level of written and oral communication skills
• Experienced, confident and effective working in cross-cultural settings
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and a keen appreciation of good documentation
• Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and deadlines well, and with a high degree of accuracy
• Team player with a good combination of high intelligence, emotional and cultural quotient
• IT savvy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Responsibilities:

• Preparing meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.

• Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from suppliers.

• Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments, and cutting boards.

• Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places.

• Packing take-out orders as needed.

• Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.

• Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required.

• Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience helping in kitchen settings.

• Obtain basic Food Safety Course.

• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Available for weekend and holiday shifts.

Working Days: 5days (Within a week any 5days)

Cyber Security, Information & Technology Risk Management
You will be a part of an independent risk management function to protect the firm’s information technology assets, including business data, from external threats and operational risks, and to facilitate the firm’s digitalisation journey in a secure manner.

What will you do as a VP, Information & Technology Risk?

• Formulate and maintain cyber, information and technology risk policies, standards and guidelines for the firm
• Act as a domain expert and trusted partner in information and technology risk; work closely with Information and Technology Risk Officers and stakeholders in various functions to enforce information and technology risk management policies and standards
• Enhance and finetune IT risk assessment methodology and processes
• Conduct regular awareness training for staff on cyber, information and technology risks, including policies, standards and relevant topics; periodically publish security awareness articles
• Conduct periodic and ad-hoc assessments to monitor compliance with security policy and security controls design and operating effectiveness; review information and technology risk, audit and operational risk issues to identify root causes and trends, and recommend appropriate remediation
• Define and execute the program of work for information and technology risk management, including budgeting, prioritization, resource allocation, and coordination with internal and external partners
• Identify and assess emerging risks, and devise effective mitigating controls together with stakeholders
• Work closely with peers in TG, and partner with Operational Risk Management (ORM) in monitoring operational risk tolerance metrics, operational risk events and control deficiencies, as well as reporting and escalations to relevant Risk Committees

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in financial services industries, with minimum 3 years in risk functions involving Information, Technology and Cyber Security risk
• Professional knowledge and experience with industry Information, Technology Risk or Cyber Security management frameworks
• Equipped with professional business partnership and virtual team management experiences
• Strong influencing, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Experience in organisation IT risk appetite and key risk indicator management, monthly data driven report generation and presentation to senior management, and independent assessment of incident root cause analysis will be required
• Possession of professional qualifications - CISM, CRISC, PMP, CISA, CISSP, CSX – will be advantageous
• Experience in implementing data-driven controls automation checks through coding and scripting in Python, Audit Command Language (ACL) will be advantageous
