1. JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical & Operation Specialist reports to the Factory Manager and is responsible for efficiency of manufacturing and overall factory management. He supports supporting day to day manufacturing operation in the Pilot Factory and sales & logistics operation to ensure production efficiency and timely order fulfilment.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Technical & Operation Specialist supports the Factory Manager in overall factory management from production to order fulfilment, including manufacturing operation, processes optimization, facility & machinery maintenance, factory HR/administration and sales & orders fulfilment.

Specific tasks include:

Technical Support

• Manufacture of functional ingredients, premixes and functional food.
• Manufacturing process optimization
• Facility management including all needed certification and licences
• Planning of production schedule through coordinating equipment, labour, and material availability.
• Support development of streamlined supply, manufacturing, ordering & delivering process to achieve maximum efficiency when fulfilling customers' orders.
• Troubleshooting of production issues to minimize delays in production.
• Plant machineries procurement & maintenance.
• Upkeeping of production records for traceability
• Practising of strict sanitization and cleaning procedures after each production
• Maintaining the factory’s hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Setting up cleaning and the maintenance schedule to ensure machinery/equipment are in

working condition.

• Adhering to safety measures while operating machineries and equipment
• Establish of any new process SOP
• Provide support and coordinate logistic activities
• Perform analytical test and/or research.
• Co-ordinate activities and stakeholders to ensure satisfactory delivery of contract services and in-house development projects.

Operations

• Packing of products, arrangement of logistic for orders fulfilment.
• Support sales operation, logistic Participate in business development, marketing and customers’ acquisition activities.
• Operate business processes and systems (eg. HR, finance, admin) to ensure operational efficiency.

Academic Qualifications and Availability

• Polytechnic Diploma in Food Science & Technology/Chemical Engineering/Bioengineering/Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/or any other engineering discipline.
• Relevant NiTEC training with relevant internship/working experience can be considered.

The Visualization and Refractive Specialist is responsible to drive the sales, market shares, adoption and growth of Alcon Surgical Visualization and Refractive portfolios within an assigned geographic area and customer accounts to meet or exceed the sales target.

This role will be responsible for (AVS) Agros, Ngenuity, Revalia and Refractive equipment & accessories portfolios.

Major Accountabilities

• Responsible for the sales, market share, adoption and growth of the Visualization and Refractive portfolios
• Responsible for the demonstration of the visualization and refractive products to the customers
• Effective Sales penetration of targeted accounts through supporting the doctors in the Operating Theatre and follow up in the clinics (if necessary)
• Collaborate with CAS to provide clinical and training support to customers
• Establish and develop strong customer rapport to achieve growth and acceptance of Alcon’s surgical products
• Effectively communicate to customers the benefits to patients of the utilization of Alcon’s surgical products in order to drive and facilitate increased sales, market share and adoption
• Gain accounts commitment through effective marketing practices – e.g. holding practice development workshops for doctors/HCP; evaluating and follow up on post marketing effort
• Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge
• Submit daily activity report utilizing Sales Force and Pitcher with contents
• Participate in trade exhibitions, official functions, congresses, seminars and other marketing events as required

Education:

Minimum:

• Diploma in Medical Technology & Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Optometry or related field. Other diploma background may be considered based on relevant experience to the role.

Preferred:

• University Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Optometry or related field. Other education background may be considered based on relevant experiences to the role.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, sales experience in Medical device industry is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical application experience, preferably in cataract and femtosecond Laser refractive surgery
• Preferred experience in: OR；Demonstrated experience working with Microscope, 3D visualization in a hospital environment
• Understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

• Support the creation and execution of the digital customer support operations and strategy across the entire beIN APAC business and to be in tandem with the organizations’ global and regional strategy and leadership.

• Manage operational project schedules, timelines, milestones, stakeholders and provide regular reports to management and relevant stakeholders on risks and dependencies
• Support anti-fraud and anti-piracy strategies and technologies including watermarking, fingerprinting, detection, and work with legal and broadcast teams for automation, piracy mitigation strategies, technology deployment and legal take-downs.
