Responsibilities:
Mise en place for food service.
Cut and portion meat.
Prepare ingredients.
Prepare sauces.
Cook food.
Cook staff meals daily.
Store ingredients appropriately.
Wash dishes, where needed.
Maintain equipment, where needed.
Check temperature of fridges.
Advice Front of House on food allergies and intolerances.
Be familiar with ingredients used, and seasonality of ingredients.
Ensure sufficient inventory of ingredients and packaging.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and kitchen.
Wash kitchen floor.
Clean exhaust hood.
Assist Head Chef with tasks.
Assist colleagues with work.
Complete any ad hoc tasks assigned.
Prerequisites:
Have at least 1 year experience in a French, Italian or Japanese cuisine.
Be positive,

Be observant and pay attention to details,
Have good command of the English language,
With good habits of cleanliness and is well-disciplined at work,
