RESPONSIBILITIES
Purpose Of Role
The purpose of this role is to support the Director, People and Corporate Services in providing leadership for the key functions including HR, Finance and Operation & Admin to strengthen the internal capacity, and to develop and implement strategy to support the organisations overall strategic direction and workplan.
Job Description
- Develop and implement strategies and workplans for People and Corporate Services that support NVPCs strategic direction
- Advise key stakeholders including the leadership team on People and Corporate Services related matters
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members,
- Ensure all policies, procedures and guidelines stay relevant, comply with legislation, and strong internal controls are in place,
- Ensure the day-to-day operational activities of the organisation runs smoothly and effectively,
- Analyse complex issues and develop solutions in the form of plans and strategies,
- Prepare management reports to update Leadership Team, Committee and Board,
- Oversee and manage the Teams budget and Risk Register,
- Responsible for the development for the team members
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a degree, preferably in major of Business Management, HR and/or Finance
- At least 5 years of relevant working experiences at management level
- Well versed with Corporate Governance, Employment Act, Accounting Standards and Workplace Safety & Health Act
- Strong Supervisory and Leadership skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a good sense of urgency in a dynamic and fast paced environment,
- Initiative-taking, assertive, people-oriented and driven,
- Proven strong record in Staff Engagement, Learning & Development, and Change Management will have advantages for this role
