Branding & Communications Intern - Content Design

The intern will support the Branding & Communications department in executing a 6-month work plan focused on content design. This role involves maintaining brand consistency, creating marketing materials, and assisting in campaign execution. The intern will gain practical experience while contributing significantly to the company's branding and communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content creation: Collaborate with the Content Lead to develop marketing materials and develop content for internal and external communication, focusing on content design.
2. Visual communications: Create visually appealing assets that align with the Brand Guide and resonate with our audience.

Requirements

1. Currently pursuing a diploma in Graphic Design / degree in Communications, New Media, or a related field.
2. Applicants who just graduated and looking for experience and exposure are welcome to apply.
3. Proficient in graphic design apps/software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and the ability to create visually engaging assets.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

The Senior Specialist (Modern & Contemporary Art) is responsible for orchestrating the Modern & Contemporary Art Auction, requiring good knowledge of the art market and strong client relationship management to bring in business for the department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Duties include but are not limited to the following):

• Reach out to major clients (collectors, dealers, corporations, institutions) in the sale of high value property.
• Active participation in sourcing and selling of the department works
• Function as liaison with overseas specialists group, working on appraisals as a means of generating new long-term business opportunities and reconnecting with inactive clients.
• Review incoming photo inquires with department to determine property sale potential and value.
• Research property including authenticity, bibliography, provenance and exhibition history.
• Direct the catalogue production and layout.
• Participate in Telephone Bidding with clients during the auction.
• Work with buyers during sale week to market and pre-sell the sale.
• Participate in pre-selling upcoming auctions through targeted marketing efforts.
• Coordinate and produce materials and information for Press and Marketing.
• View and visit competitors' auctions and track overall results.
• Actively participate in events, art fairs, and other functions to represent the auction house.
• Work on special projects as assigned by Director.
• Other duties as assigned by Director.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in applicable Art History.
• Chinese language proficiency required.
• Minimum of 5 years paid work experience in related field.
• Knowledge of the auction business.
• Demonstrated ability in appraising property and business-getting.
• Knowledge of E-mail, Spreadsheet, Word Processing and Presentation software (Microsoft Office preferred).
• Ability to learn 33 Auction systems including Box, AuctionFlex, AuctionMobility and website.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communications.
• Superior client service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.

The Junior Specialist (Modern & Contemporary Art) is responsible for bringing in business, cataloguing and coordinating the sale and property, requiring good knowledge of client relationship management and relevant markets for the art category working in close collaboration with our team of specialists.

• Identify and maintain relationships with all client categories (collectors, dealers, corporations, institutions), including the ability to work with major clients in the sale of high value property.
