Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of 5 direct reports, growing to >20 eventual reports. You will provide mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Supplier Management: Oversee all spares suppliers, along with tail spend suppliers. You will drive supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management, ensuring that procurement activities align with cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
Commodity and Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key equipment spares commodities. This includes identifying cost-saving opportunities, mitigating risks, and ensuring the sustainability of the supply chain. You will lead sourcing activities, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, ISM, and finance to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business needs. You will collaborate to address any supply chain disruptions, optimize inventory levels, and support long-term operational goals.
Cost and Spend Management: Manage the procurement budget and drive cost reduction initiatives, particularly within tail spend categories. You will monitor procurement spend, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategies to maximize value from the supplier base.

Facilitate Technical Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Understand technical market landscape and supplier capabilities and roadmaps
- Facilitate co-development activities, and technical roadmap collaboration with suppliers
- Manage Procurement Sourcing Strategies (including creation through stakeholder input, communication, and execution)
Source and Select Suppliers to Meet Technical and Cost Requirements
- Align customers to strategic sourcing
- Drive sourcing requirements and supplier selection through decision matrix in support of technology development, cost reduction, and quality improvement efforts
- Pursue commercially viable suppliers
- Partner with stakeholders to assess Supply Chain risk for new sources
Partner in Negotiation Processes to Enable Future Cost Structures
- Partner with stakeholders on negotiations with suppliers for strategic sourcing/RFQ events
- Utilize cost modeling and other analytical techniques to drive negotiation process
- Ensure all new business awards and opportunities are coordinated to leverage global business volume
Candidate Profile:
You must have at least a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, supplier/partner relations, and procurement. You should have a proven track record in managing procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers, and optimizing purchasing strategies. Experience in establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships is essential. You should possess strong analytical and decision-making skills, with expertise in cost optimization and procurement best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work effectively at all levels within an organization. Experience in high-value or high-volume manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience in semiconductor memory or related industries.
- Strong familiarity with managing Spares and Services
- Demonstrated success in supplier management, cost reduction, commodity management, and strong stakeholder collaborations, and establishing effective governance frameworks.
