Graphic and Motion Design Intern Job Scope and duties:

· Creations of various product packaging and logos

· Execute designs and expand on conceptual knowledge to a range of branding applications across print, collaterals, packaging, signage, digital, social media content formats, etc.

· Update website and e-commerce marketplaceswith videosand event text, images, sponsor logos etc

· Design banners, header boards for retail stores and online platforms.

· Create short video clips for products or promotions to post on social medias

· Develop Social Media Content concepts and design look & feel of social media content across various marketing channels.

· Support marketing campaign planning and execution

· Understand and translate brainstorming ideas and requirements in design concepts and storyboards

*Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Responsible to the Design Engineer for the preparation of design as per codes/standards and client's specifications.
2. Prepares design proposals, do material take-off for civil and structural work.
3. Produce design and detailed engineering calculation, drawings for civil and structural work.
4. Preparation and submission of engineering documents for Client and Authority Approval.
5. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer on a weekly basis.
6. Implementation of Engineering Procedure, Draughting Standard and Quality Management.
7. Conducts site investigation/checks for data acquisition, as-built for design and tender work.
8. Coordinates with other engineering disciplines for correct and proper execution of work.
9. Liaise with the accredited Professional Engineer (PE) for calculations, drawings to comply with authority requirements.
10. Perform any other responsibilities as directed by immediate supervisor.

Qualification & Experience Generally Required

1. Degree/Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering, experience in Petroleum/Oil/Gas or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the same capacity, preferably in similar or related design work associated with oil and gas industries. Experience in geotechnical, underground building works, tunnel or infrastructure design will be an advantage.
3. PC skills in MS Office, familiar with design and analysis i.e. STAAD.Pro, ETABS, PROKON software or equivalent.
4. Good in technical competence, self-starter, resourceful, meticulous to details.
5. Good coordination and communication skills.

• Prepare Field layouts, Cable routing layout, Power and control layout, Lighting layout, Earthing and lightning protection layout
• Prepare Single line diagrams and control schematics
• Review inter discipline drawings
• Built Drawing/Document Preparation

Requirement:

• 1. Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Instrument / Electronic Engineering.
• 2. Equivalent Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, preferable in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power Producer.
• 3. Fresh Graduate is acceptable, based on talent and attitude of applicant.
• 4. Good knowledge of Electrical / Instrument Signal Transmission and Signal Protocol.
• 5. Knowledge of specialized software such as Smart Plant Instrumentation and AVEVA E3D etc.
• 6. Computer literate and good hand-on experience on applications such as CAD drafting and Microsoft Office etc

What you will be working on?

You will be involved to develop clear, visually appealing graphics and content for the museums’ special exhibitions and permanent galleries.

• To work with different departments on different design projects for print and digital.
• To translate concepts into visuals and to ideate from scratch.
• To conceptualise and work on text and graphic layouts for collaterals in different languages.
• To provide production support, liaise with external suppliers on the production matters.
• To follow through the design process from beginning till final artworks are ready for prints, with quality checks and colour-proofing works done prior to 2D production.
• Any other duties as assigned by the management.

What are we looking for?

• Singaporean only
• Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design/Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Interest in Art, Design and History will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
