BUSINESS ROLE
The Business Development Consultant is responsible for day-to-day sales with a focus on meeting budget requirements, assuring overall quality and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. He/ she works closely with the W team and manages all client relationships. He / she will work with both the client and W teams to understand, define, and build effective and innovative solutions that generate business results across Singapore.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- MARKETING TEAM - Collaborate, provide perspective and support for new product development, launches and marketing plans for South East Asia
- WAREHOUSE TEAM - Guide the 3rd party warehouse team to coordinate deliveries
- EDUCATION TEAM – Collaborate with Education Director to fulfill customers training needs to grow sales through education
- FREELANCE EDUCATORS – Provide direction on the training needs for customers at nominated events in salon and in the academy
SALES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Open new accounts as per the agreed target
- Create an ongoing target list to seek new perspective opportunities
- Offer business development to all accounts to grow distribution & sales
- Mentor customers in the Brand Philosophy
- Create marketing & sales activities to drive sales and advocacy of the brand
- Report through to the Business Leader on a monthly basis for all sales and education activities
- Maintain an ongoing client listing record
- Assist in education with face to face training

REQUIREMENTS
- Min 2 Year’s in sales role with proven results
- Knowledge of the local market /hair & beauty industry
- A passion for sales and target-based performance
- Proficient use of MS Office - Word/Outlook/Excel/ PowerPoint
- Relevant qualification in sales & business development desireable
