Part of the Human Capital Cluster in IMDA, the Jobs and Skills Division is a dynamic team that works with multiple stakeholders to conceptualise, design, plan and implement ICT and media training programmes to develop Singapore’s digital workforce.

Responsibilities
Review data and insights on media and ICT manpower trends and challenges to help shape policies and programmes to support the needs of the sector
Engage stakeholders, such as employers, industry associations, unions, training institutions, industry partners, internal IMDA divisions and other government agencies to obtain ground sensing of the sector for policy and programme improvement
Prepare internal submissions with assessment and recommendations to seek approval of projects, including presentation of proposals to senior management
Operationalise new manpower programmes, including establishing of processes, templates and guides for internal and external stakeholders
Engage and on-board industry partners, associations, training partners to collaborate on projects to train, upskill and create new job opportunities for Singaporeans
Monitor progress of programmes, including tracking of project deliverables and budget drawdown in a timely manner
Grant administration, including evaluating achievement of programme outcomes in accordance to funding criteria
Prepare and provide timely programme and project updates and reports to management and relevant stakeholders
Other duties as assigned: As part of the larger Human Capital Cluster, you may be assigned to stretched projects/tasks as part of staff development and exposure to other areas of work within IMDA.
Requirements
3 to 8 years of relevant working experience in project management roles and preferably with experience in the media industry or ICT industry, good working knowledge in media content production, AI/GenAI.
Good working knowledge of data storytelling using data analytics tools such as Tableau and/or prior experience in administration of grants (either public or private) and/or management consulting skills would be added advantages.
Performance driven, outcome oriented and meticulous
Well-versed in management of stakeholders at all levels, both externally and internally.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities: Able to work with ambiguity and loosely defined problem spaces.
Background in Media, Comms, Tech, or HR disciplines.
