This position is responsible for providing technical and IT support to the business units. The role included implementation, configuration and deployment of IT and security system.
- Consult with clients, vendors and personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and resolve issues.
- Administer and setup network data security, include Active Directory, group policy, password policy, audit trail log, firewalls, antivirus update, window hardening and security event log backup, etc.
- Able to read and understand system audit trail report and act to fix the problems.
- Prepare reports for purposes of planning preventive works, stock spare list, meeting minutes, cyber security report and daily works job sheet, etc.
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
- Install and configure wireless networking equipment.
- Install and configure AT managed network switch, include VLAN configuration, trunk, Port management, POE power setting, CLE configuration, and IP routing.
- Configuration of IGMP Multicast streams and UDP and TCP/IP.
- Install and configure the Microsoft OS. VMware, Microsoft Clustering and Server Security Hardening. Provide monthly Microsoft Window Server/workstations OS backup and restoring. Clone the image of harddisk and to recover the system from backup harddisk when system failed using Acronis or other tools.
- Update Microsoft Window patch using online tools and offline patch update. (Microsoft baseline)
- Configure of SQL and manage of database include database repair, backup and restore.
- Understanding of cyber security, prevention, implementation according to IM 8 Singapore Infocom guide.
- Install and configure raid 1, raid 5, raid 6 and harddisk format. Recover any harddisk failure using disk management tools.
- Install and configure of SNMP and NTP. Able to use tools such as Netgain and master clock for devices monitoring and time sync.
- Create, analyze, report, convert, or transfer data, using specialized applications program software.
- Provide implementation, configuration, deployment, and support of systems, including, but not limited to client computing devices and servers.
- Provide training to new engineers and other training sessions as required.
- Able to coordinate, log cases and assist with other system specialist when they issue with their systems.
- To support CCTV and card access software installation, integration, and configuration.
- To troubleshoot VMS and ISMS application, software, and servers’ issues.
- Assist Project Managers and Engineers to prepare systems related diagram for the project implementation.
- Ensure systems design conforms to contract and technical requirements.
- Engage with back line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems to effectively resolve project implementation issues. Attend to preventive and corrective maintenance to backend system.
- Will be required to be on 24/7 standby
- Strong commitment to meeting customer’s SLA
- Reporting to Technical Manager.
- Responsible for the smooth operation of backend equipment and handles the technical aspect with regards to the backend system include overall network and switches at Securitas office/SOC and customers sites.
