Job Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing & warehouse facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to drive operational excellence across all functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supervisors and employees, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Oversee production schedules, ensuring that manufacturing targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes to optimize operations.
Prepare and manage the operations budget, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining high levels of product quality and safety.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and efficient distribution of products.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare regular reports for upper management on operational performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
Champion health and safety initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with ERP systems and other manufacturing software
