Our client is a leading A1 main contractor with over 50 years of history in Singapore. Their projects are mainly condominiums, HDB, industrial, data centre and school institutions. Currently they are looking for Senior Tender Quantity Surveyor to be based in HQ. This role is 5-day work/week and office location is at city fringe area.
about the job
- Understand tender requirements
- Exercise collaborative plan and define extend of works
- Timely management of tender activities
- Review quotations with the designated specification
- Review quantities and cross check for possible items that may have been overlooked
- Proof reading for tender responses to highlight areas for incorporation of quantity and ensure issuance to stakeholders to quote for works
- Review of cost impact (value engineering proposal/ variations)
skills & experience required
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in tendering for projects (building / rail / Infra)
- Able to commence immediate or within short notice period will be a plus
- Comfortable to commence with tendering and thereafter project management basis
