R&D Executive

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and innovative R&D Executive to join our team in the manufacturing of dairy products. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing new products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Lead the research and development of new dairy products, including formulation, testing, and scale-up processes.
• Quality Improvement: Analyze and enhance existing products for taste, texture, shelf-life, and nutritional content.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant food safety and quality regulations, including labeling and nutritional guidelines.
• Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities for new product development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production quality assurance, to ensure successful product launches.
• Monitoring: Oversee the unstuffing of incoming cargo for urgent usage, ensuring timely availability of materials.
• Trial Samples: Ensure that trial samples meet the required specifications of customers before proceeding with production.
• Raw Material Testing: Verify that raw material test results are available and meet specifications prior to production.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of experiments, formulations, and processes, and prepare reports for management review.
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in dairy processing and product development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in R&D within the food or dairy industry (3+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of dairy processing techniques and product formulation.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.

The S&A PMO process governance & automation lead is responsible for leading & overseeing day to day PMO process governance operations, which also include identifying & launching automation improvement to the process workflows to improve productivity and efficiency of ARTC Project Life Cycle Management (PLCM) Process.

Leading a team of 3-4 project coordinators & working across functions, the successful candidate responsibilities are to:

• Act as the main liaison officer to PMO director and S&A senior management as well as responsible for matters related to the organisations" Project Management System, PLCM processes, PMO financial & manpower untilisation
• Generate and analyse monthly financial data for management review
• Provide training and guidance for users using the project management system. Chair "Clinics" to address queries and support PLCM processes.
• Billing and track all project invoices
• Track, generate and analyse project manpower utilisation rate for management reviews.
• Assist PMO director in preparing project/programme data, presentation decks, communication slides and other project or programme related documents.
• Responsible for project or programme audit. leasing with project managers, principal investigator and colleagues from HQ.
• Collate and compile project management dashboards for reporting and management reviews
• Review and revise guidelines to improve existing processes pertaining to PLCM cesses. Be responsible for implementing automated process for PLCM workflows.

Requirements:

• More than 9 years of experience as project or programme controller, working in Project Management Office or related department
• Diploma or Degree in Business or engineering related courses.
• Demonstrate experience and capabilities in managing and communicating with crossfunctional stakeholders
• Experience of leading a small team to deliver excellence in PMO process governance.
• Demonstrate flexibility and agility to the change management process. Willing to embrace new ideas and change in a fast pace environment
• Skill in communicating with senior stakeholders both internally and externally

For Regionalisation Programme:

• Identify and establish international partnerships with government bodies, industry players, and multilateral organizations by leading negotiations for agreements, MOUs, and collaborative projects, aligned with A*STAR, ARTC's regionalisation strategy.
• Conduct international market analysis to identify global trends, partnership opportunities, and emerging markets relevant.
• Manage international projects and partnership initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with A*STAR, ARTC's goals

For Start-ups Programme:

• Execute successful delivery of startup programmes, overseeing outreach, publicity, budget management, and vendor coordination.
• Deepen current relationships with public agencies such as ESG, IMDA, EDB, and various A*STAR Research Institutes to enhance collaboration opportunities.
• Manage relationships between startups and industry members to drive initiatives that enhance the overall performance of the consortium.

For Assigned Industry Members Customer Care:

• Provide dedicated support to nurture strong business relationships with assigned ARTC industry members, aligning strategic business goals, and achieving ARTC's revenue and project targets.
• Ensure timely and comprehensive reporting on business development activities with assigned members.
• Support in the analysing of market data, sector developments, and members' activities to stay updated on evolving market requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Corporate Policies & Procedures related to Billings & Credit Control, HR, Operations, and Project Management.

Others:

• Support logistics matters related to ARTC visits with members/non members

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or an Engineering-related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in B2B business development and enterprise account management.
• Proven experience as a Business Accounts Manager or in a similar role within a consortium or collaborative business environment.
• Prior experience in the Start-up Industry and/or International partnership roles would be a bonus

Job Requirements

Qualification & Field of Study

Degree in mechanical, electro-mechanical engineering, physics, science, computer engineering, or metrology related fields

REQUIREMENTS

· At least a Polytechnic diploma in any discipline with at least 2 – 3 years relevant experience; engineering and marine related disciplines preferred

· Good communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills

· Resourceful and able to work independently or in teams

· Self-motivated individual with strong drive for results within tight timelines

SALARY EXPECATIONS

Between S$3,000 to S$4,000

13th Month Guaranteed
