Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Protect assets and information of the company in accordance to the company policy and Security SOP.
• Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates.
• Response promptly to the activation of alarms and investigates disturbance.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, equipment and goods to safeguard against theft and maintain security of premises as well as ensuring that equipment or goods is accompanied with Delivery Order (DO), e-Delivery Order (e-DO) and declarations.
• Write reports in the Security Occurrence Book of daily activities and irregularities.
• Call the superior, upon instruction call police or fire departments in case of emergency.
• Circulate among visitors, patron and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Warn persons of rule infractions and violations, and evict violators from premises with appropriate measures when necessary.
• Inspect and adjust security systems to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
• Securities and Fire Safety check relevant to SSO (Senior Security Officer) and above.
• Monitor building systems, such as Air Conditioning and lights after office hours.
• Collate reports from the shifts to Security Supervisor in charge, addresses any unusual occurrences and recommend mitigations orderly.

Qualification & Experience Generally Required

• Minimum secondary education.
• 1 year of similar Security Officer experience and possess a valid Police Licensing Regulatory Department license.
• Attain training Manage disorderly conduct and threatening behavior.
• Attain training Handle Security incidents and Services.
• Candidates with NSRS or WSQ certificates will be considered favorably.
• Good conduct Certificate (for non-Singaporean only)
• Service-oriented and positive working attitude.
• Willing to perform rotating shift work.
• Police, CISCO or SAF regular experience will be an advantage.

About the Role

You will be part of the SG Group and your role encompasses, but is not limited to, the execution of work procedures in relation to services on ESG consulting, data governance/analytics, internal audits and pre-IPO internal controls review (non-IT and IT-related), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) reviews, business process improvements, risk management, grant certifications etc. You will work in teams of typically 2-3 consultants per assignment and will be expected to identify and recommend lasting improvements to processes, frameworks and governance with guidance from the existing SG team members. You may also be seconded, on a short-term basis, to support the external audit teams to build your assurance-related foundational skills.

Job purpose

• Reporting to the Retail Manager; your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Overall accountable for retail stores, including P&L, fulfilment of targets (sales, productivity, …), SOPs and

• policies of the company

• Monitor sales and provide routine/monthly sales reports with recommendations for business growth

• Resolve the issues, maintain the standards and enhance the operations process

• Make sure that the stores comply with all health and safety regulations

• Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel

• Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service

• Ensure stock control policies are followed diligently to control stock loss and cost control

• Forecast quantities that need to be purchased from HQ to maintain healthy stock on hand

• Managing restaurant staff's work schedules.
• Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
• Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
• Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
• Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
• Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.
• Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
• Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

The position is responsible for conducting all teams partaking in a guest’s arrival and departure. The Lobby Manager also acts as the center of all communication and action during any irregular incident during a resident stays or guest visits.

Primary Responsibilities 

Delivers the Raffles Hotel Singapore Arrival and Departure Experience

• Ensures guests receive a warm and personalised arrival and departure experiences based on and seamless flow of processes including supporting Lobby Ambassadors for check-in, check-out, and cashiering duties. 
• Ensures guests receive the experience as detailed in brand Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), Raffles Hotel Singapore Local Standard Operation Procedure (LSOP) as well as Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, and aim to achieve the scores and goals set by management.
• Ensures service standards and individual performance are aligned with Accor Values - Guest Passion, Trust, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation and Respect.

Manages All Aspects of the Daily Operation at the Hotel Lobby and Entrances

• Ensures the smooth running of the hotel operation by performing all tasks in adherence with the code of ethics as issued by Raffles Hotel Singapore.
• Upholds a flawless impression and perception of the Raffles Hotel Singapore services, products and colleagues.
• Takes responsibility to ensure 24-hours shift coverage in the Lobby Operation, Concierge and Raffles Service sections. Carries out Night Duty Management by himself if needed.
• Orchestrate the lobby operations from a seating perspective of main building restaurant patrons.

Maximises Efficiency of Resident and Guest Incident Management

• Manages any incident that occurs during resident stays or guest visits due to service or product shortfalls.
• Acts as the center of communication during any incident and takes immediate action to turn the situation around into a satisfying experience.
• Acts according to hotel emergency and crisis management procedures when applicable and always reinforces hotel values.
• Adheres to Work Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures and ensures all direct reports and peers are trained in and follow WSH guidelines.

Maximises the Outcome of Upsell and Cross-sell Opportunities

• Executes the annual upsell strategy and achieves all goals as set by management.
• Cooperates with all departments and divisions in promoting inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities.
• Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
