GLC Recycle was established by an experienced team of industry-hardened professionals who have an extensive history of more than 15 years of trading experience in the non-ferrous metals and battery cathode materials industry who are now venturing into battery recycling.
Main functions and responsibilities
Supply Chain Management
- Liaison with government agencies/authorities for all regulatory requirements including (but not limited to) licenses, permits/approvals, and trade agreements etc in import/export of goods and materials
- Transportation management, Import and Export in Sea Freight
- Obtain quotes from newly identified suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and work towards continuous cost reduction efforts
- Lead regular price negotiation sessions with suppliers to maintain competitive costs for materials and services
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures within the Logistics department to ensure consistent workflow processes
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operational matters and challenges
- Oversee inventory management, supplier relationships, and logistics processes
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local and overseas suppliers
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
Skills/Requirements
- Minimally 3-5 years of experience in similar position
- Knowledge and experience in Customs Declarant
- Comfortable with travelling overseas due to operational needs
- Possess high leadership skills
- Independent, responsible and initiative
- Flexible and willing to learn
- Good communication skills

Other Information
- Location: Paya Lebar
- Working hours: 9am – 530pm
