Job Description

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests
• To oversee the implementation of preventive management and repair schedules of all hotel machinery, equipment and facilities and update daily routine check list
• Assist supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the department
• Supervise and delegate work promptly to the Maintenance crew and ensure that work is properly done and updated on progress work
• Participate in fire-fighting and safety exercise
• Preventive maintenance scheduling
• Inventory of spare parts, tools and expendables
• Filling of building drawing and specification
• Maintenance budgeting and planning
• On the job training to new staff (air-con, chiller plant, electrical, kitchen equipment)
• Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures

Requirements

• NITEC in Mechanical/ Electrical or M&E Engineering
• Other existing and/or new Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ)
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in engineering or similar capacity preferably in a Hotel environment or in commercial building
• Able to work multi skill and assist to preventive maintenance painting and plumbing.

Responsibilities:

Attend to guest room and public area maintenance as reported by Front Office and Housekeeping.

Carrying out preventive maintenance of all electrical installations and equipment.

Other tasks and responsibilities includes upkeeping and maintenance of fixtures & fittings, carpentry, painting and plumbing works.

Requirements:

Possess minimum National Technical Certificate

Able to perform 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems, ensuring optimal functionality and client satisfaction

Job Description

• Install, configure, and test CCTV and Card Access Control systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of security systems within client environments.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to CCTV cameras, recorders, and access control devices promptly.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system checks to ensure continuous functionality.
• Perform quality checks on installations to guarantee compliance with company standards and client requirements.
• Document and report any discrepancies or issues observed during installations or maintenance activities.
• Interact with clients to understand their security needs and provide technical support.
• Offer training to end-users on the proper use and maintenance of security systems.
• Work closely with project managers, fellow technicians, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and meet project deadlines.
• Provide feedback to enhance the efficiency of security system installations and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• Create and update documentation for standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Stay informed about industry trends and technology advancements in CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Propose system upgrades or enhancements to meet evolving security requirements.
• Be ready to take on maintenance tasks when assigned/ rostered as part of a 24/7 stand by team.

Requirements

• Higher NITEC/ Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in CCTV and Access Control systems are highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of CCTV and Card Access Control systems.
• Proficient in the installation and configuration of CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and Access Control devices.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security principles related to security systems.
• Familiarity with various CCTV and Access Control brands and models such as Genetec, Milestone, Hikvision, Hanwha, HID etc
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to [15kg] and work in various physical environments
