Job Responsibilities:

· Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily tasks

· Provide guidance and leading the chefs including but not limited to, line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating

· Oversee and organize kitchen stock and ingredients

· Keeps cooking stations well-stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours

· Manage food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimize waste, plus work with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns

· Supervise and assist in all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards

· Work with the head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities

· Verify that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed

· Coordinate with the restaurant management team on supply orders, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing

Requirements:

· At least 3 years’ experience

· Process Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene certificate

· Strong knowledge in Food and Beverage

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Must be able to work on shift roster (including Sat, Sun & PH)

Senior Cook Job description

The Senior cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer. Previous experience in a team environment and various cooking methods preferred.

That cook need to play as multitasking role he must be ready to washing vessels and cleaning kitchen environment

Duties and Responsibilities

• Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations

• Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.

• Preparing deep fryer, utensils, and grill for shift

• Roti prate flour mixing

• Ready to cook Goring items (nasi,ikanpils,mee,kwithya,noodles)

• preparation of south indian& north indian curies

• Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system

• Cooking order according to food health and safety standards

• Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes

• Handling multiple food orders at one time

• Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive

• Dressing order for presentation

• Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides

• Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner

• Storing all food properly

• Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils

• Reordering stock and food supplies

• Monitoring other cooks and team members

• Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook, or relevant work experience

• Legally able to work in establishments which serve alcohol

• Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends

• Must pass a background check

• Assist in the preparation of food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions
• Prepare and cook food in all areas of the kitchen as and when directed
• Able to deliver food items on time with consistent standard & presentations
• Coordinate food production, stock and quality
• Ensure station is organized so that meals go out on time and the work area remains clean and orderly
• Constantly check the quality of food prepared with regards to taste and temperature according to the company standard
• Monitor and fully implement the portion control established with the recipes to reduce spoilage and wastage
• Oversee the cleanliness of kitchen, the equipment, work stations and environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day operation based on inventory needs, new product introduction, equipment efficiency and resource optimization while maintaining GMPs compliance.
• Streamline company’s production process in order to maintain an efficient and effective team.
• Perform Quality Measures of staff performance.
• Assist in Internal Quality Audits (IQA).
• Plan, organize, direct and control of daily production with production supervisor.
• Evaluate, improve product quality, production efficiency, work procedures and safety enhancement in accordance to food safety and GMPs.
• Manage cost performance and be responsible for daily production yield and output.
• Staff development and improve staff competency.
• Preparing monthly production report, provide support for new product launch and to review documents and reports.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
• FMCG / Food Manufacturing experiences will be advantage
• Knowledge of ISO22000:2005, BRC issue 8, HACCP
• Knowledge of Business Central 365 (Microsoft Dynamic Navision)
• Microsoft office (excel, powerpoint, outlook)
