Job Summary

The Procurement Manager oversees the Buyers within the Procurement Department in Singapore, assuring the timely processing of purchase requirements, solicitations of bids, negotiations, and awards of Purchase Orders (POs), follow expediting, delivery and problem-solving with suppliers. Job Requirements

• Diploma and above in Business Management, Operations, or Supply Chain Management with emphasis in supply chain or business preferred or equivalent work and management experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate all kitchen personnel, including stewarding, food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Ensuring proper handling and storage of all food items in accordance with hygiene standards, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as event planning, and client services to ensure that all function needs are met.
• Manage inventory and ordering of food, supplies, and equipment, maintaining appropriate stock levels and minimizing waste and loss.
• Perform additional duties, as needed, to support the success of the overall culinary operation.
• Ensure resources meet business needs through the effective management of working roaster.
• Maintaining food costs and labor costs.

• Diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience as a sous chef in a high-volume establishment.
• Strong knowledge of and proficiency in various cooking techniques and styles, as well as knowledge of food and beverage trends and innovations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts
• Proven work experience as a Commis Chef, Chef, Prep Cook , or a similar role in the hospitality industry
• Experience in MICHELIN and / or fine dining restaurants are highly advantageous
• Complete knowledge of the industry’s best practices, hygiene, and safety standards

Liquid Chocolate is the franchisee of DipnDip, an international chocolate cafe with over 100 locations around the world. We are looking for an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team as we open the 1st few outlets in Singapore.

The main purpose of the Assistant Pastry Chef is to work with the Head Pastry Chef to prepare and assist in the activities of the central kitchen (and outlets as required).

Related duties and responsibilities

• Arranges and sorts out received goods in related storage areas according to the Pastry Chef and food safety guidance.
• Washes, sorts and cleans fruits then stores them in clean containers according to the food safety guidance.
• Preparation work to be done, when required.
