Job Purpose

• To examine both the quality and quantity of the goods
• To ensure goods are promptly moved to Stores or the concerned department once received

• Match invoice to purchase order. Do not accept unauthorized merchandise
• Inform Purchasing Manager and Cost Controller of any deficiencies and mistakes
• Input into the system all goods received daily and print Goods Received Note and attached with the invoice and PO

• To closely monitor with the Purchasing Officer all pending or partial deliveries

• Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef.

• Daily feedback collection and reporting of issues as they arise.
• Assess quality control and adhere to hotels service standards.

• Reporting to the Kitchen Production Manager and responsible for the operations of the Kitchen production area and supporting the entire shift of Restaurant, Swedish Food Market and Bistro.
• Assist in forecasting and purchasing of food and good supply.
• Ensure an efficient operation by monitoring man-hours roster closely and supervise activities of co-workers in the Kitchen. 
• You look into waste management, portioning and kitchen production as part of a continuous effort to improve the efficiency of the operations.
• Ensure that facilities of kitchen conform to safety & sanitary regulations and HACCP standards. Ensuring food safety procedures are carry up as and when.
• Assist in menu implementation and launches.

Job descriptions:

• Welcome customers as they come into the restaurant
• Help customers to settle down and also take their orders
• Process customers’ orders and generate their bills
• Provide answers to queries presented by clients regarding services and offers made available by the restaurant
• Clean all tables after clients have left and get such tables prepared for the next set of clients
• Serve and pack warm foods to clients in an effective manner and in strict accordance to the orders of such clients
• Assist kitchen staff and outdoor delivery staff whenever such assistance is required
