• Collaborate with chefs to plan menus, ensuring quality and reasonable pricing.
• Manage food and supply inventory, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, handling complaints and feedback.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase restaurant sales.
• Manage restaurant finances budgeting and expense reporting
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and safety, complying with relevant regulations.
• Ensure restaurant equipment functions properly, scheduling maintenance and replacements as needed.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
• Foster and maintain customer relationships to increase customer loyalty.

Responsibilities:

- Mise en place for baking.

- Production of pastry and desserts.

- Advice Front of House on food allergies and intolerances.

- Be familiar with ingredients used, and seasonality of ingredients.

- Ensure sufficient inventory and proper storage of ingredients and packaging.

- Maintain cleanliness of work area and kitchen.

- Complete any ad hoc tasks assigned.

Prerequisites:

- Have at least 2 years experience in French pastry production.

- A self starter who takes pride in your work.

- Able to work independently.

- Be observant and pay attention to details.

- Have excellent personal hygiene.

- Good team player.

- Keen on learning new skills and tasks.

Staff meals and uniform provided.

Job duties:

• Operate dishwashing machine.

• Wash and dry all pans, pots, utensils, dishes and storing them back to allocated locations.

• Housekeeping and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

• Sweeping, mopping of floor.

• Empty trash containers.

• Assist with ad hoc duties as assigned.

• Help out with simple food preparation, where possible.

Benefits:

• Work hours per day: 4 to 6 hours

• Work days per week: 2 to 4 days

• Hourly salary: $12.50 - $15.00
