Medical Affairs Manager – SEA (Global Pharma)
A leading multinational Medical corporation is seeking for a Medical Affairs Manager to join their operations to formulate and execute the regional medical affairs strategy.
The Opportunity
You will be involved in the Medical Affairs strategies, defining key scientific messages and will assume the key role as the interface between the healthcare industry and product development.
Duties will also include review of medical studies, publications, and clinical documents, developing relationships with KOLs and external organisations.
You will have the opportunity to exercise your scientific expert knowledge in the definition and implementation of new medical strategies.
What we look for:
- Strong academic background (Medical Doctor, Ph.D or Master’s Degree level)
- Gained at least 4 to 8+ years’ experience within a pharmaceutical company
- Proven track record of leading Medical Affairs at a regional or global level
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory standards, industry codes, clinical process, and product development process of medical technology
- You maintain high scientific standards and can maintain strong peer-to-peer collaborations with KOLs & HCPs thorough scientific exchange and discussion
- Expertise in any relevant therapeutic area (i.e. cardiovascular, rare/orphan diseases, neurological, ophthalmology, oncology, infectious disease, vaccines etc.)
- Can demonstrate a strong business and commercial acumen, business discussions and contract negotiation
- An ability to establish relationships with KOLs at a global level and deliver presentations at conferences and meetings
- Experience in training sales and marketing teams on products
- Written and published scientific papers
