Fleet Health Engineer (Aircraft/ Airline/ MRO)

Job Purpose :
- Supports Fleet Health Lead for the delivery and performance of the Fleet Watch and Health Monitoring activities provided to the SIA A380 fleet and provides operational support to the engineering activities to the SCOOT A320 Family fleet.
- Responsible for maintaining SIA A380 and SCOOT A320 Family fleet to the highest Operational Reliability in line with airworthiness requirements EASA and CAAS and in accordance with Airbus Technical Standards and FHS Financial interests.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Departure Check and Flight Watch activities on Shift basis
- Monitor Recurring Defects with the usage of AIRMAN and SKYWISE
- Support daily operations for main base and outstation
- Provide MRO with engineering recommendations for predictive and preventive maintenance
- Expedite Critical Mods at Line Maintenance in collaboration with Materials Management, Planning and Operations.
- MRO daily tasks management
- Support AOG events and critical troubleshooting on aircraft
- Support the preparation of AOG reports and coordinate any post-AOG follow-up
- Assess defect rectification opportunities in collaboration with Materials Management, Planning and Operations.
- Serve as interface between Airbus Head Office Customer Support Department and Customer
- Support technical or ad-hoc projects and process improvement as required
- Provide technical support outside of office hours on shift and duty basis
- Ensure that emerging fleet issues are communicated to the TSP Engineering Avionics/ Systems/ Powerplant team for long term engineering follow-up.
- Support and develop new Business case related to AOTP improvement.
- Participate in SKYWISE development, trials and improvement
- Provide technical inputs to Fleet Watch Lead to support TSC/RIC/TRM discussions
Requirements:
- Minimum degree holder in Engineering or Aircraft maintenance license holder
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Airline/MRO, in an engineering position
- Great organizational skills, flexibility managing multiple priorities, working to changing deadline and attention to details
- Ability to work under stress
- Unyielding commitment to excellence, delivering the best possible outcomes for customers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well in a team
- Maintenance environment experience
- Project/continuous improvement skills
- Possess Class 3/3A driver’s license
