Who are we looking for?
- Worked before in outdoor adventure industry or marina industry or marine construction industry or shipyard industry.
- Accountable for implementation and education of water sports and sea safety regulations and SOPs to all project members in all project sites for client. Also accountable for healthy work environments in these project sites.
- Familiar with SS 701:2023 Code of Practice for Inland and Open Water Sporting Activities and SS 700:2023 Code of Practice for Water Safety – Aquatic Facilities; and able to implement these standards.
- Consistently put in safety preventive measures and plan training programs to educate existing/ new service personnels in the project.
- Track and monitor any safety incidents and work with team members to resolve them systematically.
- Able to put in place a safety reporting system and train all project members to comply.
- Participate actively in weekly company-wide safety meeting.
- Mandatory to possess Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health; and OFAC + AED certificates.
- Display effective communication, good planning, supervision and coordination.
- Physically very fit, can swim and can work with/on boats.
- Work in offshore islands, such as Pulau Ubin and Coney.
- 5.5 days work week. Able to perform operations beyond the usual working hours for projects during occasions and/or when need arises.
