Jungsaemmool beauty Singapore is planning to open the first ever concept store, where you could 1) Start your beauty journey at our retail store, 2) Nourish your beauty knowledge and skills at Academy with educational possibilities and professional networking 3) Complete your beauty at Salon by Jung Saem Mool’s professional Makeup and Hair service.

We are looking for people to be part of the Makeup and Hair Service team of our Flagship store.

RESPONSIBILITIES (but Not Limited To)

• Performing makeover services following JSM beauty styling guide.
• Educate and demonstrate to customers every benefit of each individual product
• Foster pleasant relationships with customers and follow-up with their appointments
• Ensure merchandise and shop’s cleanliness is always in tip-top condition
• To be well-groomed at all times
• To be an excellent team player and actively supports your superior

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 7 years of relevant working experience
• Express a strong passion to work in the beauty and cosmetics industry
• Work experience in prestige industry would be an advantage
• Diploma or Certificate in hair styling / make-up artistry from a recognized institution
• Portfolio of past work that shows versatility in styles, skills, and techniques of hair & make up
• Good understanding of current hair & make-up and fashion trends especially from Korea
• Fluent in English is a must. / Fluent in Korean will be an advantage.
• Pleasant and friendly personality
• Possess leadership qualities such as the ability to lead and communicate with team members.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible working schedule and to support off site service.

Beauty Advisor/Consultant:

1. Engaging customers, understanding their preferences, and offering expert advice on beauty and skincare products.
2. Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, skincare products, and cosmetics.
3. Perform product demonstrations, makeup applications, and skincare routines to showcase the benefits and proper usage of products.

Makeup Artist:

1. Apply makeup to clients using various techniques, including contouring, highlighting, blending, and layering, to create flawless, long-lasting looks that enhance the client's features.
2. Provide clients with makeup tips, skincare advice, and product recommendations to help them maintain their look and achieve the best results.

Facial Therapist:

1. Perform a variety of facial treatments, including cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, mask application, and massage, tailored to individual client needs and skin types
2. Conduct thorough skin assessments to identify specific concerns, such as acne, aging, or sensitivity, and recommend appropriate treatments and products.

Candidates may choose either facial therapist, make-up artist or beauty advisor/consultant.
Suitable for entry-level and experienced individuals.

Salary & Remuneration:

Gross salary is typically $4,000 (est.)

Salary Structure-
Basic salary ranges from $1,800 to $2,500+ (Depend on Experience)
+ Huge uncapped sales commission (personal AND storewide)
+ Grooming allowance monthly
+ Housing allowance for foreigners
+ AWS
+ Variable Performance Bonus

Job Requirements:

• No education requirements
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the Beauty/Fashion Industry
• Able to work retail hours (3 rotating shifts)
