Job Description

The Singapore Population Health Studies (SPHS) is a population-based health research initiative at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. SPHS aims to investigate the interactions between lifestyle, physiological, genetic and other omics biomarkers and their impact on health and longevity. In addition, SPHS will serve as a platform to monitor risk factors in the population and gain insight into determinants of health-related behaviours. For this purpose, SPHS includes over 50,000 adult Singaporeans and long-term residents from three major ethnic groups (Chinese, Malay, and Indian), for a better understanding of disease aetiology in urban Asian settings, and the development of improved preventive and therapeutic measures for Singapore and other Asian populations.

JOB PURPOSE
This role primarily involves the recruitment and data collection activities of the public health research projects under the SPHS unit that will contribute towards the building of a population health biobank for Singapore.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Inviting target participants as defined above to take part in the relevant study by phone call or messaging;
2. Screening their eligibility for the study and making an appointment with them for the study procedures;
3. Provide logistical information for the interview and study site visit;

• Disinfection of treatment rooms
• Handling of dental laboratory cases
• Monitor inventory for dental supplies
• Front Desk duties including handling patients’ appointments and answering phone calls
• Submit insurance/medisave/CHAS online claims

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience as Clinic Assistant in medical field would be an added advantage
• Able to work on weekendsand until 8pm / 9pm (actual working hours will be scheduled according to roster)

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Achieving on the monthly sales targets, gather sales leads, building a database of potential clients

and covert prospects into new clients

• Identifying the key decisions makers with the clinic manager and staffs to promote the company

product and service on Cord Blood & / Cord Tissue.

• Establish and maintain a good rapports and relationship with clients (new / existing) , partners &

customers

• Follow up closely with the customer on whole process from signing up case till delivery (Pre & Post

Sales)

• Follow up and entering details for leads card by fixing home presentation, arrange Kit box, update

on the cancellations via emails

• Key in CSA details in the system

• Drive the revenue generation by sign ups

• Attending and be representative at all Baby events, seminars, corporate events, Antenatal talks,

Lab visits and LW talks

• Other assign duties by superior

Requirements:

· Must possess at least Degree

· Good analytical and questioning skills coupled with ability to develop and implement sales strategies

· Strong in interpersonal, communication and influencing skills

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision
