The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) aspires to provide excellent, patient-centred care and to improve the health of the population in the east of Singapore. We aim to develop future-ready systems to support patients’ healthcare journeys and to be an employer of choice for our staff.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing primary care and preventive health programmes for the hospital in partnership with the SingHealth Office of Regional Health. This role focuses on improving the health outcomes of residents residing within the assigned EGH population catchment, while addressing social determinants of health and implementing strategies to enhance preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness of the residents.
Requirements:
- Good Degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years were in a managerial capacity preferably in the healthcare industry
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Public Health, Health Management, or its equivalent would be an advantage
- Proven experience in population health management within a hospital or healthcare setting would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s healthcare landscape and regulations
- Proficient with data analytics tools and techniques
- Possess excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
- Team player with the ability to manage cross-functional and institutional relationships and work independently
- Ability in managing complex, ambiguous and challenging situations
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
