Requirements:

• Fresh Diploma OR Higher NITEC / NITEC /GCE N / O / A with at least 6 years’ working experience, preferably in the retail industry
• Conversant in English and a 2nd language to liaise with customers from different racial backgrounds
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
• Good team player and independent worker who requires minimal supervision
• Detail oriented, and able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changes
• Physically fit – able to lift at least 5kg. Daily work involves a lot of physical activity including lifting of stocks, standing and bending

Job Description:

You will provide SpeechTherapy Services primarily in an acute healthcare setting. You will be expectedto participate in various community services by the rehabilitation departmentand contribute to quality and clinical improvement initiatives of the hospital.You will diagnose and manage speech, language, voice and swallowingdifficulties in adult and paediatric populations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Speech Therapy, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient services
• Conditional or Full Registered with Singapore AHPC
• Minimum 3 years of Speech Therapist experience
• Competent in dysphasia assessment and management
• Keen interest and dedication in the rehabilitation of patients
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently

The incumbent isresponsible to:

• Assess effectively, set appropriate goals, implement appropriate treatment plans, execute safe therapy, re-assess timely and modify treatment when necessary for patients referred for occupational therapy
• Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor and other healthcare professionals when appropriate
• Communicate and work effectively as a team with referring doctor and other members of the medical team regarding patient care
• Ensure all patients' records are updated accurately and promptly at all times
• Undertake continuing professional development of skills and knowledge proactively and regularly through self-study, continuing education presentations, case discussions and research
• Assist with clinical education of students and job training of therapy assistants
• Supervise therapy assistant or other support staff to carry out treatment

Job Requirements :

• Recognised Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy by Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
• Conditional or Full Registration granted by Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
• Minimum 3 years Occupational Therapist experience

Overview*

The role will see you supporting the Medical Social Work Department in administrative matters and working closely with the Team Lead for Social Work Coordinators while reporting to the Head of the department.

This includes managing queries from patients and family members over the counter, phone and email.

Managing the departments email enquiries.

Support the department in generating and analyzing monthly reports.

Work with external departments within the hospital and cluster to address work processes and improve efficiency.

Work with external stakeholders to facilitate meetings and engagement sessions

You will be required to use Microsoft Office effectively and to learn other information systems which the department is using

You will also need to be bilingually effective and work closely with a variety of stakeholders

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

• Manage all duties related to managing the public-facing part of the department
• Support administrative needs of the department required for daily running of the services and in support of SWC and MSW services
• Support operational needs of the department by working with internal and external stakeholders and communicating and maintaining work processes
