Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conducts serological testing procedures (IFA) including sample handling and storage as well as reporting of results.

· Develops and validates enhancements to existing processes, including lab automation, improved workflows, and new diagnostic assays.

· Performs cell culture and manufacturing of IVD test kits. (On-the-job training will be provided)

· Ensures biosafety practices are strictly adhered to during the handling of potentially infectious biological samples.

· Ensures all tests are performed accurately in a timely and safe fashion.

· Ensures regular maintenance of all equipment and inventory, oversees purchase of consumables and preparation of laboratory reagents/supplies, including laboratory cleaning and waste disposal.

· Oversees and performs laboratory quality assurance duties such as verification of quality control standards and conducting basic performance checking tests.

· Performs daily administrative operations such as data entry into LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and report generation.

· Develops SOPs, lab forms, and work instructions.

· Monitors and maintains compliance with CAP and MOH HCSA regulations.

· Any other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager and/or the Management.

Job Requirements:

· 2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.

· Successfully conducts routine clinical lab testing in a safe and timely manner, reviews results, leads validation studies, manages teams, rosters manpower and other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager and/or the Management.

· Open to learn and be involved in Research & Development and Manufacturing activities.

· Experience with cell culture, immunofluorescence assay (IFA), and molecular diagnostics will be an added advantage.

· Familiar with CAP and MOH HCSA audits and guidelines will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• Attend to all Members enquiries over the counter & on the phone i.e. gym, group fitness, tennis, squash & adult recreation etc.

Enforce all Club & department by-law and ensure safety of the workplace i.e. no mobile phone usage while on machines, towel use in the gym area & proper attire for both gym & squash court etc.

• Updating & changing of the music played in the gym weekly on a bi-monthly basis

• Ensure basic cleanliness & housekeeping at the sports counter area

• In charge of the First Aid box and ensure items are replenish and complete at all time

• Work closely with the Manager, Sports & Recreation on the financial target and activities.

• Regular follow-up with Manager, Sports & Recreation in updating of the operation and team performance.

• Support in the fitness & leisure administration i.e. marketing collateral for events, new personal training, classes’ attendance, tournaments sign-ups and members correspondences.

All other duties as per directed by Manager, Sports & Recreation or or such other person as the Club may determine from time to time.
