Singapore Brain Development Centre (SBDC) was established in March 2005 and stands as one of the pioneer centres providing cognitive development training for children of all ages in Singapore. Our developmental and cognitive training programs are based on scientific research to enhance brain functions. We are seeking for therapists who are passionate about working with children, eager to learn, and committed to making a positive impact on the development of those facing learning challenges.
Specific Responsibilities
- Conduct one-to-one therapy sessions.
- Provide individual therapy.
- Employ intervention strategies for child development.
- Prepare and maintain student data and records.
- Administer assessments and evaluate student progress.
- Collaborate with families of children with learning challenges.
- Conduct lesson plans and create learning aids.
Competencies to Learn
- Understand various learning disabilities affecting behavior, memory, and learning (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD, GDD, learning deficits, and autism).
- Learn strategies to improve sensory and perceptual-motor skills, language, cognition, and memory skills.
- Understand how to tailor interventions to meet individual needs.
- Incoporate sensory activities and stimuli within the gym setting to support children in regulating their sensory systems while engaging in physical activity.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood, Linguistics, Sports Science, or related fields.
- Experience working with children is an advantage.
- Competitive pay package based on qualifications and work experience.

- Effective engagement and communication skills with children and clients.
- 3 years contractual basis.
