Your Team

What Success Looks Like

As the brand custodian, you will handle a portfolio of Brands. You are responsible for overall Brand Strategy, Brand Equity, Marketing Plans and P&L management for the brand in the Japan market. You should have strong leadership skills and experience handling P&L.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Deliver Brand P&L including top line, bottom line, share and equity growth for the Japan market
• Identify APAC consumers’ needs and wants for P&G’s products, and provide inputs to Research & Development and technical team to design the right package and formula to win with local consumers
• Lead creative agencies to develop communication ideas and execute TV copy production designed/customized for the cultural nuances of Japanese consumers
• Communicate with APAC local partners, stakeholders and suppliers to drive P&G business initiatives considering Health Care regulations in respective markets.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or Degree qualified with a relevant major (Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communication)
• Strong regional brand building track record with Brand Design Role (brand franchise or regional design) experience for at least 5 years
• At least 4 years' experience in the FMCG industry
• Proven strong critical thinking and experience on Brand Strategy, Equity and Architecture

The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive 1-2 years' P&G perfumery program that includes a detailed understanding of the fundamental science and technology of perfumery as well as formulation strategies. In this role, achieving success can be described as below:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Science or Engineering with a strong aptitude for chemistry or related areas.
• 3 years formal training / experience in Perfumery. Experience / understanding of Asian consumers olfactive preferences and consumer goods market.
• Strong passion for the art and science of perfumery often measured by the predilection for perseverance, persistent scientific approach as well as evidence of aesthetic intuition.
• An acute sense of smell. You must pass an odor acuity test to determine the abilities to discriminate odors and build odor memory. This will be reviewed and/or monitored by a Senior or Master Perfumer.

Key Accountabilities:

The incumbent shall be responsible in assisting the site in program deliverance and alignment with both local and international codes, recognized industry standards and company requirements from project conception to realization. In collaboration with the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS), Duke - NUS, the National Health Group (NHG), National University Health System (NUHS), and SingHealth, SEC runs a research program on "Future Health Technologies (FHT)". In this programme, multidisciplinary teams develop a future-oriented mobile digital health concept which combines scientific and technological innovations with clinical, industry and other stakeholder needs. It tackles care for the increasing number of patients suffering from chronic diseases, particularly diabetes, obesity and stroke. Job description

The scope of work shall comprise of but shall not be limited to:

Personnel Management (in collaboration with SEC's HR team and FHT management team)

• Prepare, check, coordinate and take responsibility of the hiring processes for FHT with SEC HR
• Manage personnel database and report generation
• Support FHT PIs and researchers on various administrative tasks (eg: contract extensions/changes, new hiring etc).
• Prepare and manage any kind of contracts with actual and future entities/partners.

Infrastructure Management (in collaboration with relevant FHT and SEC teams)
