Job Scopes:

• The effective operation of the Gym and various fitness training programmes.
• The well-balanced management of general Gym maintenance and personal training programmes.
• The effective discharge of the responsibilities of the Department as specified in the Club’s organization chart through appropriate policies, strategies, action plans, systematic work procedures, relevant performance control system, and acceptable work standards.
• Demonstrate or explain how to perform various exercises and routines to minimize injuries and improve fitness
• Watch clients do exercises to ensure that they are using the correct techniques
• Provide alternative exercises during workouts or classes for different levels of fitness and skill
• Monitor clients’ progress and adapt programs as needed
• Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations on sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment
• Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues
• Give emergency first aid if needed

Job Requirement:

• Minimum ‘N’ Level or Graduated in Sports Management or equivalent
• Certified Personal Training
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience preferred
• Program design experience preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• 5-day work week (Able to work rotating shifts including weekends, Public Holidays)
• Working hours 5.30 am to 2.30 pm, 7 am to 4 pm & 1 pm to 10 pm (44 hours per week)

We are an award-winning BFT Studio, seeking a Group Fitness Trainer who is enthusiastic, driven, and experienced in delivering high-energy, engaging group fitness classes. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for fitness, a commitment to fostering a positive, supportive environment, and a strong desire to help others succeed. You will be responsible for leading a variety of fitness classes, ensuring proper technique, and delivering an inspiring and motivating experience to members of all fitness levels.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certified Group Fitness Instructor

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provides the necessary guidance to members and guests when using the gymnasium equipment.

2. Keeps abreast of members’ physical fitness training needs and provides the appropriate programmes.

3. Develops and implements Personal Training (PT) programmes as per the set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to meet the needs of Club members and their guests.

4. Performs routine checks to ensure that gym and equipment are in optimal condition and ensure the gym cleanliness at all times.

5. Conducts regular checks at all the sports facilities to ensure they are in good condition.

6. Ensures all equipment & facilities are well-maintained and reports to Executive if any repair or upgrading is necessary.

7. Provides the training to the Sports staff on the usage of the gym equipment and submit the training forms to HCD for records.

8. Monitors activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures.

9. Ensures that the Gymnasium outlet is kept in good condition.

10. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Department / Executive.

Job Requirements

§ GCE ‘O’ Level with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

§ Possesses a certified Personal Trainer qualification to coach / train.

§ Good customer service attitude with a strong passion in coaching.

§ Warm and friendly disposition.

§ Good knowledge in Physical Fitness programmes.

§ Ability to design and implement Personal Training.

§ Knowledge of Sports Awareness programmes.
