Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic imaging services, including X-rays and mammograms, following hospital procedures
• Uphold safety protocols and provide clear explanations to patients about procedures
• Maintain high standards in imaging quality and patient comfort
• Perform rotational on-call duties, providing after-hours support when needed
• Participate in daily equipment quality assurance checks to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications:

• Degree in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution
• AHPC (Allied Health Professions Council) license is a must
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in diagnostic imaging
• Expertise in subspecialties like CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Mammography is an advantage
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills, with a working knowledge of PACS

Salary: $4000-$5500
Working Days and Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm
• Saturday, 8.30am to 1.00pm

Job Descriptions:

• Perform radiographic examinations and produce images of diagnostic quality for radiological reports.
• Be familiar with the usage and correct handling of imaging equipment and conduct necessary tests before equipment is used on patients.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and ensure compliance with the radiology safety policy.
• Perform Mammogram scans.

Requirements:

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography and Medical Imaging
• Fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• At least 2 years’ experience in clinical or related field preferred
• Comfortable to travel between medical centres preferred.

• Work closely with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met.

• Work closely with Picture Archiving and Communications systems (PACS) administrator to ensure studies are sent and stored in the PACS correctly without errors.
• Other assignments as when required.
