Job Description

• Provide general clinical pharmacy services in assigned patient care areas/services.
• Participate within a multidisciplinary health care team to ensure optimization of medication therapy and outcomes for patients.
• Identify and define patient-specific medical problems, recommend, implement, and manage patient pharmacotherapy, review, counsel, dispense, and/or supply medications as needed, provide ongoing monitoring and adjustment of patient's drug therapy, resolve and/or prevent patient's drug-related problems by departmental policies and procedures, work and/or consult with other health care providers to improve patient outcomes.
• Promote and monitor for adherence to prescribing guidelines or drug use protocols.
• Provide professional advice and evidence-based drug information to patients, pharmacy students, and the health care team.
• Work with patients, caregivers, and other health care providers to ensure safe, cost-effective, timely distribution and quality use of medication that will best meet the patient's needs, achieve desired patient outcomes, and assure continuity of services.
• Communicate with patients and/or caregivers on a group or individual basis to ensure understanding of prescribed drugs, to resolve or prevent drug-related problems, and to assure optimal patient cooperation in drug therapy.
• Document clinical activities as defined in the competency development framework and/or department guidelines.
• Serve on departmental clinical practice committees and/or other relevant committees as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferably possess Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the practice of hospital pharmacy
• Experience in hospital pharmacy desirable.
• Possess strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Proven ability to manage pharmacy operations over at least 12 months.
• Possess leadership qualities.

This person will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution in ROPU ASKAN Oncology therapeutic area (TA).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the OPU brand teams together with regional marketing team, develop, implement, and execute strategies and activities to bring the benefit of BI medications to patients across the product lifecycle.
• Operate in cross-functional teams (Marketing & Commercial operation team, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access team, Clinical Development and Operations, Patient safety and Pharmacovigilance and Medical content manager, Patient Engagement team).
• Plan and coordinate scientific expert interactions (scientific exchange meetings, symposia, consultancy groups, roundtable discussion, workshops, train the trainer sessions, advisory board meetings, speakers' tours etc.), appropriate expert engagement across countries and advocacy development plans, as well as collection of key metrics.
• Develop and maintain medical expertise for the relevant BI products and therapeutic areas of Human Pharma to meet external customer needs, in combination with a thorough understanding of Medical Affairs and Brand strategies/tactics
• Where and when applicable, work on generating and disseminating local data scientifically relevant to BI products.
• Support to drive the scientific contents through omnichannel digital engagement aligned to the TA strategy.
