Job Responsibilities

· To assist the paramedic in responding to emergency calls

· To assist the paramedic to assess the condition of patients who are injured ill.

· To assist the paramedic in applying treatment for the stabilisation of a casualty’s condition

· Able to use all ambulance medical equipment safely.

Job Requirements

· Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level

· EMT Certification by SAF, SCDF or SingHealth Alice Lee Institute of Advance Nursing (IAN)

· Relevant working experiences in SAF or SCDF will be advantageous

· Certification of BCLS & AED (Training will be provided)

· Physically fit

· Good Communication & Interpersonal skills

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision

The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients, inventory management and other Pharmacy related activities.

How to Succeed

• Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Course (Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore) or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent and above in related field, clinical track is highly preferred for Pharmacy Technician position.
• Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in an acute hospital setting.

• Carry out new admission screening and medication reconciliation
• Perform data entry for the supply to inpatients, outpatients and discharged patients
• Pack and dispense medications under the direct supervision of the pharmacist
• Verify discrepancies in prescriptions with the prescribers where possible
• Ensure the correct billing / charging of drugs supplied to the patients
• Track inventory level and perform restock whenever necessary
• Participate in stock take in the pharmacy
• Monitor expiry date of medication

• Carry out any other job duties as assigned from time to time
