o To provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment (as per needed) to deliver effective therapy intervention for clients in the various care settings
o To provide clients and caregivers with education and training
o To communicate intervention/continuity of care/discharge plans to relevant stakeholders at the available platforms
o To facilitate community integration through collaboration with community partners when required
o To participate in continuing education and research activities to keep abreast with advances in the profession
o To provide supervision to support staff and C-reg therapist for professional development
o To provide clinical supervision to OT students
o To contribute to department’s development through delivering training/in-services
o To participate in research and/or quality improvement projects
- Administration and Operation
o To cover the duties of other Occupational Therapist in the Allied Health team within the organization
o To oversee and manage day to day inventory used
o Assist in conducting clinical and compliance audits for care standards
o Assist in the implementation and promotion of new clinical services
o Monitor individual key performance indicators
o To provide input and/or perform appraisal of care staff
o Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead and/or Head, Allied Health
JOB REQUIREMENTS (include shift work, perm night shift, etc.)
- Diploma/Degree in Applied/Health Science (Occupational Therapy)
- Obtained full or conditional registration and licensed by Allied Health Professional Council to practice in Singapore (AHPC)
- IT savvy; able to work on the cloud and familiar with MS Office suite
- A team player
- Able to multi-task and work independently
