You will be taking care of 5 to 8 children and responsible for helping them with their behaviours, obsessions, language and social difficulties. There are over hundreds of ways to manage any behaviours and there are more than a thousand kind of problematic behaviours. We can assure you will constantly be faced with new challenges. You will get hands on experience, learn how to manage these behaviours and learn how to best handle them.

The Position

We are currently seeking an Occupational Health Advisor to join our Client from the Oil and Gas industry. This role will support the OH management system planning, development and execution and report to the Global Occupational Health Manager. This role is for a 12 month contract period and will be based in our Singapore office.

You are responsible for

• Clinical data analysis and support with rolling out KPIs.
• Coordination and execution of key OH projects until the end of the assignment
• Lead and/or support investigation of work-related ill-health concerns and reportable diseases to identify the cause and where necessary, take appropriate actions to control the risks and prevent re-occurrence.
• Support with the coordination and or facilitation of health and wellbeing training.
• Develop e-learning modules on OHH subjects.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related discipline (nursing, allied health, medicine)
• Minimum 3 years in an occupational health-related role in industry
• Offshore experience and knowledge preferred but not essential to role

Responsibilities

• Remediation of impairments and disabilities and the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential for the upper extremity post-surgery / injury.
• Prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles for the hand.
• Plan and prescribe tailored exercise programs to help promote mobility and function for various upper extremity conditions.
• Implement appropriate treatment plan and comply to clinical standards and protocols.
• Fabricate customized splints for various upper extremity conditions.
• Providing education to patients, caregivers and fellow colleagues.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Full Registration with Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) is a must.
• Must be able to sight blood and wound.
