Nutrition Support:
• Provides nutrition assessment, nutrition support, counselling and education to customers and carers individually or in groups.
• Provides intervention in therapeutic diets for special dietary requirements.
• Participates in delivery of nutrition education programmes for customers, public and health care professionals and staff.
• Acts as a resource person on issues regarding nutrition and dietetics when applicable.
• Develops and update patient education materials for nutrition counselling and education.
• Create training materials such as manuals, presentations, and videos that are specifically designed for our health products.
New product development (NPD):
• Source for contract manufacturers to develop new product; be the main contact point with these suppliers for NPD/ formulation discussions.
• Review formulas and ingredient/ design statements for new product that is compliant with Singapore HSA regulations.
• Conduct or work with contract manufacturer for efficacy assessment, literature review, product trial and testing.
• Work with contract manufacturers for safety assessment and stability study of products.
• Define critical attributes of final products, work with Quality team to finalise product master specifications and list of required lab tests.
• Work with HSA to finalise label text of products and with designer for packaging design.
• Technical resource for Regulatory Affairs, including providing technical document such as formula, raw material COA, efficacy, stability and safety information.
• Research market prices, create accurate product costing data and propose product pricing.
• Present new product for management’s review.
Job Qualifications
• Minimum qualification is a Degree in Dietetics
• Must have at least 2 years of clinical work experience
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin (to manage documentations in Chinese language & communicate with mandarin speaking employees)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
