Job Description:
Category Strategies Implementation – 30%
- Support the implementation of Global and Regional Category strategies, to ensure sound implementation and effectiveness.
- Track and validate savings, seek consensus from the internal stakeholders and report into any other updated platform.
- Ensuring compliance to corporate policies and governance.
Stakeholder Engagement - 30%
- Collaborate with Global/Regional/affiliate stakeholders where applicable, to ensure up-to-date information regarding the pipeline of projects.
- Provide structured, prompt status reports to stakeholders.
Project Management and Support – 20%
- Provide project procurement support to internal stakeholders and Global/Regional indirect procurement team.
- Meet key project milestones and deliveries.
- Lead/ support process improvement.
Vendor Management – 20%
- Maintain effective and collaborative relationships between strategic and internal stakeholders to identify, develop and execute cost optimization initiatives.
- Recognize, monitor, and manage vendor risk, if any, to projects and organization.
- Manage vendors to ensure achievement of high-quality service expectations, product quality standards and delivery commitments.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 to 5 years experience in business, procurement/ supply chain
- Procurement experience preferably with in-depth knowledge of supply chain, distribution, and logistics.
- A good working knowledge of and experience with strategic sourcing processes and trends, competitive procurement, including value analysis and procurement technologies.
- Knowledge with legal vendor contracts, contract negotiations and service agreements.
- Ability to manage and implement cost initiatives.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, listening, communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, decision making and management skills.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle several initiatives simultaneously.
