Salary: $10k - $12k
Working Hours: Work 42 hours/week | Flexi Hours

• Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm
• Saturday, 8.30am to 1.00pm

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions common to a general practice.
• Conduct medical examinations for statutory requirements.
• Conduct basic health screening and mental health counselling.
• Assist in the administration of the medical centre when the need arises.
• Option to also do additional evening shifts and telemedicine.
• Any other tasks/responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Medical Director.

Requirements:

• Fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) / SMC - C-Reg (Level 3)
• Comfortable to travel between medical centres preferred but not mandatory

Job Scope:

• To perform intraoperative monitoring for surgical procedures as directed and be able to provide continuous technical interpretation throughout the surgery to the surgical team.
• To establish knowledge and understanding in anatomy and nervous system in human.
• To ensure intraoperative monitoring system is set-up and prepare and electrodes for op-patients before procedure.
• To report baseline parameter of IONM to the surgeon and to analyse the neurological deficits of patient’s pre-op status. Assures that the surgical team is notified of potential issues during operation in time.
• Assess the causes of the change in IONM parameters when requested by surgeons. To report red-flag cases to surgeons and prepare formal case report on time

• To conduct audit on the documentation of cases and update the required statistical report on IONM service.

Job Requirements:

• A recognized Degree in Medicine / Life Science / Biomedical Engineering or relevant fields
• Understanding of Singapore Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and International Conference on Harmonization GCP guidelines.
• Candidate with knowledge of using IONM equipment, infection control, aseptic and sterile techniques is at advantage

Job Scope

• Centre-based nursing
• Assist SN to Implement nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan and carry out nursing procedures according to the care needs of the client.
• Nursing Care in the centre
• Provide nursing assessment for new clients and regular review of assessment
• Co-ordinate with other team members and updating them of the changes in the client’s condition and needs
• Prepare clinical documentation, monitor outcomes of services and perform escalation of cases if there is need for more acute management of clients
• Assist SN to provide ongoing support and education to the caregiver, client and family
• Assist SN to provide supervision to Nursing aides and Healthcare assistant when they are performing nursing care duties
• Facilitate activities that contribute towards the improvement of the quality of client care and support care integration
• To be conversant with all emergency procedures.
• To assist SN to conduct clinical audits and feedback to the management.
• To liaise effectively with other departments and services, such as the clinics and hospital wards

Requirements

• Valid SNB and BCLS
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in clinical area such as acute, geriatric or community hospital setting.
• Good knowledge of the health care environment and service processes is important. Experience in community care provision is an advantage.
• Integrity, highly motivated, a team leader and able to maintain good interpersonal relationships, in collaboration with various partners in the healthcare system
