- Responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resource and Administrative functions and activities, not limited to recruitment and selection, payroll administration, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and training & development.
- Monitoring and assisting in work pass administration including new application, renewal, cancellation, and purchasing of security bonds, etc for the marine process
- Analyse needs, review HR policies and processes and recommend HR actions to ensure practices are in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Involve in grievance handling and disciplinary issues
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the information in all HRIS systems and physical documents such as payroll, employee records, leave system, employment contracts, etc
- Execute recruitment activities to meet business needs. Handling recruitment and selection processes, job offers, and internal salary benchmarking. Work closely with section managers on hiring requirements, ensure efficient and effective on-boarding and off-boarding activities including work pass application and orientation
- Advise internal customers on HR procedures and policies
- Prepare and analyze monthly reports for management
- Provide accurate information in surveys and liaison with government agencies
- Update human resources policies, ensuring compliance with government labor legislation on a regular basis.
- Prepare and submit statutory documents and all employer-related claims (NS makeup, maternity/paternity, childcare leave, annual income tax submission, IR21, etc.)
- Perform other administrative functions, projects, and assignments as tasked
- Manage employee inquiries on the HR processes and policies and proactively identify HR issues and provide timely resolutions
- Monitoring and keeping up-to-date training records
- Assisting in work injury compensation claims & staff insurance claims
- Assist in administrative support such as data entry, reports, work pass matter related, etc
- Provide HR customer service and respond in a manner to an internal and external party
- Preparation and submission of IR8A, and IR21, compiling statutory and other statistical information reports or surveys as required
- Ensure follow-up with Contractors on renewal of permits
