About our Client
Our client offers infant care and preschool programs for children. Their mission is to provide a world-class holistic learning space where children discover their love for learning. They are currently teaching about 500 Children across 14 schools in Singapore. Our client is expanding rapidly and is looking for an Assistant HR Manager / HRBP to look after all the brands and join their HQ team.
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join their dynamic HR team. The HRBP will work closely with business leaders and teams to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and drive employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. As an HRBP, you will be responsible for providing expertise and support across the full spectrum of HR activities, including performance management, employee relations, talent management, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and align HR strategies with overall organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and coaching to senior management on HR-related matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and employee engagement throughout the process.
Talent Management and Development:
- Support talent acquisition efforts by advising on workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
- Identify development needs within teams and create tailored learning and development programs to upskill employees.
- Implement performance management systems and help managers drive high performance within their teams.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work culture by proactively addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Act as a trusted advisor on sensitive employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Manage and guide disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievances in accordance with company policies.
Organizational Effectiveness:
- Analyze workforce trends and metrics to recommend improvements in organizational structure and processes.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure effective delivery of HR services to the organization.
- Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all employees.
HR Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal labour laws and regulations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices and bring innovative HR solutions to the business.
- Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to remain compliant and effective.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, with at least 6 years in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with all levels of employees and management.
- High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
