Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

• Accountable for budget and policy recommendations
• Direct a variety of human resources related programs to ensure that the organization’s current and future human resource requirements are met and that employees are recruited, managed, organized, trained, evaluated, and rewarded in accordance with organization’s human resource strategy.
• These programs may include recruitment, training and development, compensation/remuneration, benefits, performance evaluation, organizational development, relocation, equal employment/affirmative action, health, safety and employee wellness, payroll, employee communications and employment/industrial/labour relations.

Key Activities:

• Liaise with functional or operational area managers to develop and implement local human resource strategies that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization’s overall human resource strategy.
• Evaluate the organization’s future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the organization’s human resource programs to meet these needs.
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of human resource professionals to ensure that the organization’s human resource strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.
• Experience in recruitment management. In addition to the day-to-day managerial function, the role will incorporate strategic and policy development aspects that will have medium term consequences on the operation of the function and perhaps impact elements of organization performance.
• Establish and maintain the human resource planning, control and reporting activities.
• Responsible for the activities related to the process of payroll, aiming at guaranteeing the correct payment of employee within company parameters and according to current legislation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of HR related experience (experience in Manufacturing industry is an added advantage)
• Relevant University Degree
• Good interpersonal and communications skills

• Full spectrum of HR responsibilities for a boutique manufacturing setup
• Able to handle daily operational hands-on duties for a small headcount
• Attractive remuneration with transport provided (West Location)

Description

• Handle full spectrum of HR responsibilities.
• Handle payroll administration process, ensure accuracy and timely submission, handle enquiries related to payroll, year-end tax filing IR8A, IR21.
• Full talent acquisition cycle from sourcing, screening, offer, on/off-boarding and orientation planning.
• Work with hiring managers for hiring needs.
• Prepare employment contracts and work passes applications and renewals if necessary.
• Handle employee relations, employee engagement projects and initiatives
• Ensure smooth administration of employee benefits, insurance renewals and claims if any.
• Identify training needs, manage training calendar including registration and follow-up outcome/ feedback, application for training grants.
• Performance appraisal and processes.
• Prepare and update reports on headcount, turnover, recruitment organisational charts and employee profiles into system

Requirements

• Tertiary education in HR or other discipline (Degree/ Diploma)
• Hands-on experience in handling the full spectrum of HR duties, highly preferably in a mannufacturing setup
• Able to multi-task and handle a myriad of HR and office administration duties.
