We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Managerto lead the human resource function and oversee office administration. This role is critical to fostering a high-performance and collegial culture while ensuring the efficient management of all HR and administrative processes.
Human Resources Operations:
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures that comply with company standards and legal requirements.
- Handle day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, and offboarding.
- Address the employee relations matters to promote a positive workplace environment.
- Assist in coordinating training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills.
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Work with team leads to understand hiring needs and support the recruitment process.
- Source, screen, and coordinate interviews for potential candidates.
- Maintain a talent pool for future recruitment needs.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Assist in organizing team-building activities and recognition programs.
- Support the performance review process by tracking and coordinating review timelines.
Compliance and Payroll Support:
- Ensure HR practices comply with local employment laws in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
- Assist in managing payroll processes and employee benefits administration.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Office Administration:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including facilities coordination and supply management.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth office functioning.
- Manage office budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions for administrative needs.
HR Reporting:
- Prepare reports on HR metrics, including recruitment progress and employee engagement activities.
- Assist with documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR operations and office administration.
- Exposure to HR practices in Singapore is essential; experience with Malaysia or Hong Kong is a plus.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and HR policies.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage.
