A new and exciting HR and Administration position for a small set up company in Singapore. Looking for someone with in personnel experience, logistics and HR policies experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Manage employee records, contracts, and HR compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and local regulations.
- Coordinate staff training and professional development programs to promote capacity building and performance.
- Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management.
- Foster a positive organizational culture by supporting diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to staff regarding HR-related matters such as conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Administration:
- Oversee the daily administrative functions of the organization, including office management, facilities maintenance, and vendor coordination.
- Develop and implement administrative procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage the organization’s inventory, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effective management.
- Support the leadership team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, organizing travel, and preparing reports.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with legal, financial, and operational policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR and administration roles, preferably within a startup or SME.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and local labor laws.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information.
- High attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in or with non-profit organizations is a plus.
