JOB SUMMARY
Heads up the human resources management team for the SEAO region. Savvy about the needs of business through working closely with the business heads in the region. Actively advise the needed structure and resources for the development of the business. Build a high performing team through empowerment and development. Execute Group directed initiatives.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Partnering and Talent Management
- Closely partner with business leaders in the region to understand their manpower needs and talent needs
- Propose solutions that addresses the immediate issues with regard to manpower and talent needs, and propose ones to be put in place with a longer term vision
- Ensure skills gaps and development needs of every talent of the management are addressed with a structured planned
- Identify talents from within the organisation, as well as from external to ensure succession planning is well planned and ready at all times
- Facilitate group mobility through working with the Group and other HR counterparts from within the Group
Organisation Development and Restructure
- Support the organization development of each individual maison in the region
- Advise on structural change/organization development customized to the individual needs of the business (the different maisons)
- Advise on any change of the organization, including restructuring, and the legal standpoint of risks and opportunities
Team Development
- Support the growth of the in their expertise, equip each team member with at least the basic knowledge of the full facet of human resources management
- Ensure team’s clarity for their roles & responsibilities
Others
- Be fully involved in all Group’s processes – performance review & development (RISE), succession planning (OMR) and compensation review (ICR)
- Hold accountable for the build of budgets
- Take the lead in understanding the Group's initiatives and devise plans for execution that are relevant to Fashion Group’s objectives
- Work closely with the Finance & Operations team to strengthen the support to each Fashion Group maison
- Adhoc projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 15 years of human resources generalist experience in a sizeable and matrix organization from retail/luxury retail background
- Ideally from within the retail/luxury retail with a regional exposure
- Forward thinking and agile
- Sound ability organization development and change management
- Strong stakeholder engagement with ability to work in a matrix and diverse environment
- Good analytical and numeric skills
- Resilient and a true team player; Strong business acumen and analytical skills, people management, good communications, organized and a self-starter, good with numbers
- Well versed in local ordinance
- Moderate business travelling required within the region
