We’re looking for an experienced engineering recruiter who is passionate about identifying talent, building and driving innovative strategies, and developing and maintaining strong client relationships. You will join our Engineering Lateral Recruiting team and be part of a team of professionals using their skills and ideas to attract current professionals to careers at Goldman Sachs.

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is part of the Engineering Lateral Recruiting team focused on sourcing experienced engineering talent into offices in APAC. This role will involve managing the full recruiting life cycle, and strong relationship management with internal clients, candidates and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering creative recruiting solutions, and a proven track record of direct sourcing engineering talent.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Manage your own full cycle recruitment activities for the Engineering business for locations across APAC
• Design strategy for recruitment efforts to ensure we are providing a diverse talent pool
• Source and identify talent through LinkedIn, Boolean, as well as creative and non-traditional avenues
• Build out candidate pipelines by referral generation and researching recruiting conferences and sourcing events
• Manage candidate flow, track and monitor interview progress
• Recommend and drive improvements to the local sourcing strategy and pipeline
• Maintain strong stakeholder management
• Manage hiring volume and headcount goals
• Structure new offers and work with compensation team and business partners to determine appropriate package
• Help to provide feedback and influence hiring decisions
• Partner with the divisional business partners, employee relations, legal, background check and others to provide full service to clients
• Develop external contacts to stay abreast of new hiring practices and trends in the industry

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1 year of experience in recruiting/search experience in a financial services organization or professional services firm
• Experience in recruiting Analyst to VP level professionals across APAC (HK, SG, AU etc)
• Client focused, proactive, team player
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work in high volume environment; handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
• Proven ability in managing external vendors
• Credibility to influence at the highest levels within divisions and the firm

Our teams advise, design, and implement strategies, processes, and technologies that help our people advance professionally, drive productivity, and help the firm and our clients achieve superior results. A Business Partner within HCM will provide analytic and talent management support. Key elements of this role will lead reporting & analytics that support the full spectrum of talent management processes (diversity strategy, performance management, leadership pipeline, manager excellence, compensation, people survey, organizational right sizing and other annual processes).

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Partner with the global business partner team to facilitate and drive key people development processes for our Control, Finance and Operating (C,F&O) divisions
• Serve as strategic advisor to the division to manage compensation budgets throughout the year and administer the year-end compensation process for C,F&O divisions
• Work across a diverse range of projects (i.e. strong quantitative skills combined with aptitude for talent management initiatives) with different stakeholders
• Analyze headcount, hiring, attrition and benchmarking trends to understand market movement and advise senior stakeholders on best approaches to attract and retain top talent
• Work with large data sets and present results that tell a clear and compelling story
• Drive and execute all people development processes including leadership pipeline, talent management, promotions, performance management, diversity, mobility, reporting and analytics on people related metrics and trends, year-end compensation, and organization reviews
• Help C,F&O senior leadership on key priorities, initiatives and day to day issues for the group

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience
• Excellent analytical skills: ability to organize and analyze large datasets, detect and correct errors, interpret and report results to various audiences and take responsibility for data quality assurance
• Technical skills: proficient in Microsoft Office products; familiarity with Excel skills such as vlookups, pivot tables, and multiple variable formulas strongly preferred
• Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects in a high pressure environment while ensuring the delivery of high quality work
  High level of maturity, demonstrated ability to manage confidential information, and impeccable judgment
• Strategic mindset and ability to think conceptually, influence stakeholders, and drive excellent execution
• Think multiple steps ahead; prepare for potential problems and escalate issues when appropriate
• Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow-through required; Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
• Demonstrated client service focus and ability to build relationships successfully
• Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Business Objects, Tableau)
• Familiarity with Human Capital Management concepts and data
• Ability to work in a geographically diverse team and build strong relationships across locations and region
