As a Retail Assistant (Part-time), your Impact and Contribution includes:

• Provide customer service and promote merchandise
• Carry out cashier responsibilities and daily financial reconciliation
• Manage stock replenishment, product merchandising, and displays
• Conduct basic housekeeping tasks
• Any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

• Provide support to F&B Manager in overseeing the daily setup and closing of all the kiosks/kitchens
• Lead and ensure staff are cross-trained for multiple stations to support daily operations
• Maintain a healthy stocklist to ensure products are available for sale by keeping an updated inventory of all food and drinks
• Maintain supplies and ensure proper storage of supplies delivered
• Ensure general cleanliness and hygiene in food prep and storage are in accordance with NEA guidelines
• Ensure general upkeep and maintenance of equipment and appliances
• Ensure proper opening and closing of cash register
• Any other duties as required by the F&B Manager

As a Cafe Manager, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:

• Responsible for managing the overall F&B operations of the restaurant (Front & Back of House)
• Accountable for the daily sales and profit performance of the restaurant
• Work with restaurant chef team to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders
• Monitor and supervise the preparation and serving of food to ensure quality and compliance with food safety regulations
• Deliver excellent customer experience and enforce customer service culture

• Candidate should possess at least Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field. Relevant field on study in Food & Beverage will be preferred.

• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory position in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Services or equivalent.

Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) is a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to serving children and adults on the autism spectrum, to help these individuals lead meaningful and independent lives in society.  ARC(S) offers a range of services and resources tailored to meet the growing concerns and needs of the autism community.

As part of our continuum of services , we run a Residential Programme coupled with a supported living and training centre, and we invite passionate people to join us in transforming the lives entrusted to us.

We are looking for a hands-on & energetic Residential Coach who desires to impact lives of adults on the autism spectrum. This would require showing respect and support for our clients’ choices and needs, as well as  helping  them achieve their personal goals by empowering them through Meaning, Dignity and Independence.

Responsibilities

1.      Work in a multi-disciplinary team to coach residents in Independent Living Skills such as:

·        Maintain household chores, including laundry and area cleaning

·        Manage their time within the residence

·        Live with others – sharing common spaces, meals, and chores, as well as consideration for one another’s needs

2.      Enable the physical safety and well-being of residents 24/7 with a shift roster:

·        Ensure safety and security of residents at all times

·        Respond to emergencies or unusual developments as required

·        Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the residents

3.      Provide a safe and homely environment

·        Co-develop house practices with the residents

·        Ensure residents are accountable for their household duties

·        Provide opportunities for social interactions and community

4.      Plan and deliver programmes in the area of Independent Living Skills (e.g., preparing simple meals, navigating the community, etc.) using autism-friendly strategies.

5.      Document updates on training/coaching progress to different stakeholders

The incumbent is required to work on a shift roster which includes weekends and public holidays.   We offer an attractive shift pattern up to 8.5 consecutive days off every three weeks.

Requirements

• Min GCE 'N' level with 1 - 2 years working experience.
• Have knowledge and understanding of autism and skills in daily living tasks
• Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & non-verbal) skills
• Sounds decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Passion to work with individuals on the autism spectrum

This position involves working with parents and caregivers of our students to enable them to be active partners in their child’s education journey. Your job role will include:

Casework and Counselling

• Identify emerging trends that require domain attention in case assessment and case planning and implement the use of new and emerging approaches in casework interventions
• Implement professional tools and working templates to support staff in case assessment and case planning
• Monitor and implement use of professional processes (such as use of tools and templates and adherence to practice policies
• Implement case and care plans and interventions for cases as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Groupwork and/or Community Work

• Conduct environmental scans and community needs assessments
• Mobilise community resources
• Develop and implement new community development initiatives and evaluate their progress and effectiveness
• Implement community initiatives that promote inclusion
• Review models of care and service delivery based on evidence-based research

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

• Actively participate in community networking and build collaborations with stakeholders including parents, caregivers, community partners and other professionals
• Establish collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and improve care and services for parents and caregivers, including facilitating the smooth transition of students into and out of Pathlight
• Develop and conduct effective parent engagement activities to enable and empower parents and caregivers to be active teaching partners
• Identify families with more complex needs for relevant intervention/assistance. These include providing school and community-based financial assistance as well as linking families to community help and making referrals if necessary

Administration Support

• Maintain documentation of case management intervention such as case logs, reports, database
• Maintain and review SOPs and process related to case management
• Support Student Affairs matters such as student admissions, understanding families’ needs and communication with internal and external stakeholders

• Possession of a recognized degree in Social Work or a Graduate Diploma in Social Work.
• Preferred: 3 or more years of relevant work experience in a social work setting.

• Maintain IT & AV equipment asset movement (loan and tracking) and administer asset purchases
• Provide IT & AV assistance and user training;
• Execute termly IT & AV preventive and maintenance plan;
• Ensure appropriate monitoring of IT & AV performance and provide recommendation on latest IT & AV product offering for future upgrades.
• Strictly adhere and preserve confidentiality of all IT & AV information;
• Regularly gives status reports across projects and addresses issues as appropriate;
• Complies with school wide policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and policies.

Support

• Perform basic educational software, educational portals and application support such as user accounts administration, application updates and upgrades and user training and guides on how to use
• Provides 1st line support for IT & AV needs on events, trainings and troubleshooting and technical support for classrooms (e.g. AV system, projectors, visualizers, Computers, and all other IT Equipment);
• Manages IT Hotline and Helpdesk email for urgent requests for support
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by Head of Department.
