We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant HR Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the HR department in various functions, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining office supplies, coordinating office maintenance, and supporting general office operations.
- Accurate and timely processing of payroll for both office staff and ship crew, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive performance appraisal system to facilitate employee growth and development.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of HR policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and legal requirements.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding new hires. Conduct exit interviews and manage employee offboarding processes.
- Organize company events and initiatives to foster a positive and engaging work environment.
- Handle employee feedback, address concerns, and resolve workplace issues effectively and professionally.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement workflow charts to optimize processes within departments and across the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Assistant HR Manager or in a similar HR role, preferably in the maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in payroll processing and HR systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
