This role is similar to a (junior) chief of staff to the Co-founder (COO&CFO) of a Pre-A startup. Notwithstanding the job description listed below, your role would be anything and everything that the Co-founder is currently in charge of. Fabrica AI is creating a future where ideating and developing a robot for any task takes days, not years. We believe that by training end to end controls in simulation with reinforcement learning and above that iterating hardware designs, we can automate the whole development process.

To validate our approaches for our AI system and to collect data, we invented an automatic tile grouting robot that boosts productivity by up to 5x and are piloting it on construction sites in Singapore managed by Woh Hup, BHCC, Gin Chia, Soilbuild, Chan Rong Fen, and Dragages. Tile grouting is the process of filling up the gaps between tiles after the tiles have been laid. We invented a patented robot that is able to automatically grout and clean tile gaps with only a press of a button.

We’ve raised over 3m USD from Hoxton Ventures, Credo Ventures, our Professor from Cambridge University, Woh Hup, ffVC, and the owner of BHCC (listed construction company). We’ve 2500sqft of space in Singapore where we have over 20 team members, and 1200sqft of space in Czechia where we have our software team.

Job Description:

• Assisting with recruitment, posting job vacancies, reviewing job applications, arranging interviews with suitable candidates and conducting candidate reference checks.
• Supporting employee relations initiatives, assisting with employee conflict resolution and daily communication between the HR department and the organisation's various teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR and admin in Construction Industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Comprehensive HR knowledge, especially practical experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management and employee development.
• Must have working experience in handling construction workers .
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver under pressure and without constant oversight.

The Assistant HR Manager (SG) supports the HR operations for Singapore to fulfil HR functions and support our internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform full HR spectrum in Singapore, including recruitment/internship, onboarding and offboarding, L&D, payroll, employee relations, performance management in compliance with SG labour laws and other relevant laws.
• Assist Group HR Manager in HR policy development and ensure compliance in HR policies and practices in Singapore office.
• Work with MY Assistant HR Manager to fulfil all candidate sourcing and onboarding requests for SG and MY executives and workers.
• Work with SG HR & Admin Team to implement the new HRIS for Group HR (SG and MY).

Job Requirements:

• Must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of prior HR experience in SG, with strong knowledge of Singapore Labour Laws and Regulations. Strong experience in Talent Acquisition and Talent Development preferred.
