Roles & Responsibilities:
- To provide general HR administrative support for the organization.
HR Administration for foreign workers
Hiring of foreign construction workers:
- Liaise with different stakeholders (e.g. Project Manager or Agent) for the selection of new workers.
- Handle onboarding administration for new workers including security bond, Primary Care Plan and the preparation and completion of new hire documents.
- Ensure that work pass holders have completed medical examination or extended passport expiry dates (if required).
- Work with HRIS (People Services) to integrate new hire details into HR system (Darwinbox) and maintain/ update these details in Darwinbox.
Application and Renewal of S Pass/ Work Permit/ Contracts:
- Handle full spectrum of administration for work pass application and renewal including working with the various stakeholders (e.g. MOM) on the required documents.
- Administration includes ensuring completion of medical examination, security bond and extension of passports etc.
- Work with People Services to ensure timely contract renewals for staff/ workers.
Total Rewards:
- Handle workers’ claims, insurance & other HR related queries.
- Administration of overtime compensation and safety incentives for workers.
- Work with various sites’ administrative assistants to ensure accurate leave administration in HR system (e.g. for unpaid leave/ overseas leave which affects pay/ levy waiver).
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in the HR function.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business / Human Resources or any other relevant diploma
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Construction Industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as MS word, Excel and Power Point
- Good knowledge of employment laws & practices
